Omaha Mall Shooting: Names of Psychotropic Drugs are kept secret again.
December 8th, 2007As reported by KETV News 7:
- Todd Landry, the director of Child and Family Services for the Department of Health and Human Services, said the state spent $265,000 on services provided to the Omaha mall shooter Robert A. Hawkins over four years.
- While a state ward, Hawkins was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder, mood disorder, oppositional defiant disorder and parent-child relations problems.
- Landry said Hawkins was “provided quality services for a youth that needed it.”
That’s where the news ends and where the secrets begin. What is the secret? What were the drugs Hawkins was taking that caused him to turn so violently suicidal?
I am seeing this pattern: As long as the case is hot in the news the vested interests manage to suppress the name of the drug the shooter was taking, because it “protects his privacy rights”. Then, after months or years, somebody will find out that the shooter was on or withdrawing from psychotropic drugs. They all were. Let’s look at CAUSES here, please.
Like the Columbine massacres, and Jokela school massacres, the perpetrators of the Virginia Tech masascre, Cho Seung-Hui, was also prescribed an anti-depressant (Prozac) prior to his suicidal rampage, a substance linked to suicidal behaviors[107] but this fact was hidden for months.
